Great place to stay. Room was warm, large, clean and nicely decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful. Bar area was large but cosy. Very dog friendly and they supplied her with a bowl and cosy blanket. Parking was ample and outside areas are looked after and well maintained. We booked 2 nights but unfortunately due to a family emergency we gad to leave after just one night.
That said we found the accommodation excellent, very clean and everything you would need. Was very impressed with the room ceiling light which also had an inbuilt fan.
Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order.
Nice beer garden,  weather was nice so we enjoyed a drink in the sunshine.
Location is excellent,  10 minutes walk to Alnwick center and a further 5 mins to the wonderful Alnwick castle.
Was looking forward to 2nd night but unfortunately this didn't happen.

Enjoyable Sunday roast and fish & chips! There was a selection of ales including a few from local breweries. Staff were overall polite and helpful.

Dine or guzzle your pint indoors or outdoors! Sufficient on-site car park was available.
