Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Dense Shade Mix grows with as little as 3 hours of sunlight. This mix contains Root-Building Nutrition, a combination of ingredients that is expertly crafted to help establish deep roots to grow thick, green turf so that you can build a better, stronger lawn from the roots up. Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Dense Shade Mix is designed for full sun and dense shade, and has medium drought resistance with medium to high durability. It can be used to seed a new lawn or overseed an existing lawn. For best results, apply in the spring or fall when daily average soil temperatures are consistently between 60°F and 75°F or air temperatures are between 65°F and 85°F. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product (please refer to spreader settings on product label). Water daily or as needed to keep the soil surface moist until the seedlings reach at least 2 inches tall. One 5.6 lb. bag of Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Dense Shade Mix has a new lawn coverage of 465 sq. ft. and an overseeding coverage of 1,400 sq. ft.
